For those who maybe interested Paramount has posted it's new official StarTrek movie site it uses Flash video to download the Starfleet delta shield there's no new son the site yet. Just a place to sign up for movie news updates and they're asking people they want to moderate the site. I hate flashvideo it screws up my computer here's the link http://www.paramount.com/startrek

Why? I could actually ban people who are unruly, right? And I'd rule with an iron fist.

But how much time would you have to spend to keep the iron in your fist and keep order, CX? You'd be neglecting your courses (you are taking some at the moment, right?) And flunking them all. Ya gotta think of the needs of the one at times and scr*w the needs of the many. Oops, I think I just said something Star-Trek-politically-incorrect.

Apparently Paramount is also going to have a Facebook Page for the movie too. Too bad they didn't think StarTrek.com was the place to have movie news and updates.

ST.com was CBS and the movie is Paramount, that's why.

That's another thing that tells us that Trek isn't coming back to the small screen in quite a while, if ever. And if the new movie is somewhat successful (which I doubt it will be), then they'll run their new rebooted Trek in additional movies.

Even if Paramount would buy the startrek.com domain name, they'd probably just fill it with (new) movie stuff and toss all the old content.

I agree with you they would probably toss all the great videos and interviews from Tos ,Tng ds9 and Enterprise out. I really like the Jolene and Connor Interviews as well as the other Enterprise cast members on StarTrek.com.
