The Void



She had a void, an emptiness.
He had created it and now he removed it.
She had asked him to at first reluctantly and then with insistence.
His words filled the hollow space in her. The void was eliminated
the emptiness gone. Replaced by the contentment of fullness she felt now.
Words, how they changed her life. His words.
She no longer had the void in her the feeling of hollowness.
It was gone. That she had driven him to. Leaving her alone with this void in her heart.
His words, his dear words. They filled her. Three days ago.

He's not the type to get his hands dirty. Henry Archer's son had never had to get his hands dirty. Well, he will steal a warp engine but physical violence is not his style. Not that I advocate violence, I'm all for the peaceful solution. But I'm not innocent enough to believe we'll be welcomed with open arms. He is. I think that's a good thing. But I intend to be captain of the first warp 5 ship.
