Challenge
Summary: Tucker and Reed play a game.
Rated PG. Beta'd by Tish.
Archer strolled into the mess hall, and noticed Trip and Malcolm playing Go.
*Maybe Malcolm will give him a challenge*, Jon thought. Every time he played, Trip beat the pants off him.
After about five minutes Trip leaned back in his seat, looking rather smug.
"Atari," he said.
Malcolm blurted, "Bloody hell!"
Jon shook his head. *Then again, maybe not.*

T'Pol had just finished her evening meditation, and was preparing for bed when she heard a strange sound coming from her closet. Puzzled, she opened it and found Trip huddled inside.
"Hi," he said, smiling sheepishly.
T'Pol spared a moment to wonder how he got in there, but dismissed it as irrelevant. "What are you doing in my closet?"
Trip squirmed. "Hiding," he admitted.
Well, that was obvious. T'Pol !@#$%^&* an eyebrow and asked, "Why are you hiding?"
"Because she's out to get me, that's why!" Trip snapped.
T'Pol was seriously contemplating calling Phlox. "To whom are you referring?"
Trip heaved a dramatic sigh. "Hummingbird2," he muttered. "She wants to whump me."
T'Pol was taken aback. "There is no logical reason to believe this. She is neither Thalia Drogna nor Plumtuckered."*
"She's dying to whump me, T'Pol, I can feel it!" Trip said, clearly worried. "I thought she was different, too, but deep down she's just as bad as they are." He sounded betrayed.
T'Pol knelt down to look him in the eyes. "If that is the case, perhaps we should be grateful that she cannot write long stories."
Trip pursed his lips. "Not yet, anyway."
