The Short SHORT version

Since SB has officially put me to shame with his thread creativity in recent days, I offer a writing game. Since even drabbles seem to be too much work now for most of us, I propose a "guess the episode" haiku game similar to the "guess the character" one EK did earlier. I will write a haiku which has clues to an episode. The person who guesses the episode writes the next one, and so on. To remind everyone, a haiku consists of three lines. They don't have to rhyme and usually don't. The first line is five syllables, the second is seven, and the third is five. Not words, mind you. Syllables.

I'll start.

A child becomes man
Fifteen days, too soon he dies
And gives what he must

Well, that tells you I'm not lying when I say, I can't remember the episodes. And YET! I did this in the time it took to eat my lunch. *proud smilie*:

My dog floats helpless
T’Pol . . . my loyal friend and solace
Get a grip! It's wrong.

Zero points for originality, but here is my first attempt:


The hypo is poised
I look at her one last time.
The world fades; it's done.


It follows the haiku structure (as far as I can figure it) but doesn't have that poetic feel that a good haiku does, like Distracted's had. I'll try to do better next time.

It scans and flows, but I can't off the top of my head think of an episode where someone gets a hypo and dies. Hmmmm.
