Board upgrade, possible downtime

Hi all,

I'm upgrading the board version, so that we can get technical support if we need it. This may also cover up any possible security problems. You wont notice a difference, but there may be a little downtime (just on the board, that is)

Crisis averted, this will not happen until a couple of hours time. (Probably about 20:00 GMT) So feel free to kep#ep talkin'.

ATTN:

The board is being updated again. (From Beta5 to Release Candidate 3) This is a large jump and may take some time (no more than a day). I'm going to backup the entire database before continuing, so there is next to no risk of anything going wrong. I meant to do this some time ago, and it's now getting quite urgent. Sorry.

sorry for downtime earlier. I was trying to repair a broken feature. Unfortunatly, I failed and as such, there is more downtime scheduled for the same time tomorrow.

This was quite a hectic and unorthodox upgrade, and I may well have made a few errors. So if you do see anything, no matter how small or insignificant, let one of us lot know. Ok guys, you've got a choice...

You can either have the old theme (which is default)
--or--
The new theme

You can select which one you want in your profile. I might post a howto later.

Here's the HOWTO;

1. Either click here or click on "User Control Panel" in the tor right corner of the screen.
2. Click on "Board preferences" in the left side menu.
3. Use the drop-down box on the page labeled "My board style:" to change your style. Prosilver is the new style, subSilver2 is the original one.
4. Click on "Submit" at the bottom of the page.
