Disappearing PM

There's been a PM in my Outbox that I sent months ago according to the tally along the side. The thing is, the actual message isn't visable in my Outbox, and it must've never actually sent since the person I sent it to never responded to it while they have responded to more recent PMs, and it's not in my Sent messages box.

I guess I was wondering how I could get my Outbox to keep saying that it has a message when it doesn't.
