Hey how about a get well card challenge here for Distracted, all you who are graphically gifted? Get well cards from Trip and T'Pol and from each of the Enterprise crew members, with clever messages attached! She can print them off and put them on the table by her bed in her hospital room so all the medical staff will think she is the Queen of Trekkies!

I like challenges... but I'm also notorious for not finishing stuff in time but I'll try... which leg is it BTW

I have a Hanna Montana connection. One of the writers is a cousin of a long time friend of mine (I met my friend at the park when our kids were babies). My friend is so wholesome she didn't have cable, or doesn't have many channels, or doesn't have a DVR. I forget which. So she made me record the pilot and then we watched it together all excited to see this new show her cousin had written. Well, we were both completely underwhelmed by the pilot. But, next thing you know, it's doing WONDERFUL!

Then I actually met the writer in person at my friend's son's Bar Mitzvah. We were purposely seated at the same table because my husband is a writer and she is a writer and I'm . . . . well, whatever I am . . . It was FUN. I love to rub elbows with talented people doing cool stuff. Hey, that's why I like hanging out with you guys. I'm a talented-people groupie, I guess.

Hannah Montana is actually pretty funny. I watch it with my daughter Though, I really can't stand any of the other shows on the disney channel. They just showed the one where The Rock guest starred and they gave him a makeover so they could sell a picture to a tabloid. It made me LMAO.

It's a cute, wholesome little show. I liked the episode where Dolly Parton guest starred as Miley's great-aunt and Vicki Laurence was her grandmother fighting over when Dolly stole the other one's boyfriend...who turned out to be Elvis Presley. The jokes about Dolly's attributes...even at what? about 65, right?...were a riot!

And T'Poptarts...it's the right leg.

Ummm...do I even want to ask WHY you need to know that?

Happy is right! My surgeon wanted to give me Demerol for post op pain. I settled for Vicodin since I want to be conscious at least some of the time, and I'll still be high as a kite, I'm sure. I rarely take pain meds, so when I do it's like a non-drinker at a keg party. One dose and I'm out. I probably won't remember much of next week, but I'll be happy, never fear.

Ah so we will have a Dr. House on our hands huh?


I'm a bit late responding to this....so I hope the surgery goes well, if it hasn't already.

Yeah. It's kinda scary the way her smile stretches nearly to her ears, though. I think she's had one lift too many. She's starting to resemble a Denobulan just a bit.
