Good Evening!

Postby Asso » Mon Mar 10, 2008 11:56 pm

Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Hitchcock still appeals to people despite the really obvious special effects which seem so lame today. My 16 year old granddaughter liked "Marnie" so I am going to sit her down with me some Friday or Saturday night and we will watch my favorite "Vertigo". But she is an unusual kid. She likes black and white movies. So she is going to watch "The Day the Earth Stood Still" with me too. Any excuse to re-watch that one! Now there is a movie whose 1951 special effects hold up well and don't look too laughable to us today - except perhaps the robot's crinkley knees.
Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.

Black and white movies are often like Black and white whisky.
They are good!

I like the old Hitchcock movies. I'm not sure which one is my favourite, but North by Northwest, Vertigo and Rear Window springs to mind. I am unfortunately less familiar with his smaller TV segments.
