The Doctor has had 10 live so far, I think. :)

It's flavored with passionfruit
an appropriate ingredient, don't you think?

Yup, Ten sounds like its right on the money. :)

Has anyone read any of the Dr Who books? I've seen quite a few in my local library (there was even an audio book on sale) but I was a little hesitant.

I'm only slightly familiar with the Dr WHo universe and I don't know if its crazy, yet funny, and sometimes poignant moments would translate into the paperback form in a way that would keep my attention.

The Brits have already seen this ep, but it hasn't aired in the US on Sci-Fi yet -- the episode is called 'Blink'. And even if you don't watch the show, watch Blink. Damn, that was an EXCELLENT episode. You don't really have to watch the show to enjoy it - just know the Doctor is a time traveler.

Watch Blink.

Do NOT take your eyes off the angels.

Seriously.

Don't Blink

Don't look away.

and Don't. Blink.

Those of you from the US probably aren't aware of the UK charity TV event known as Children in Need on the BBC. One of the short pieces was a Doctor Who interlude between series - written by my current favourite DW writer Stephen Moffat (the guy who wrote Blink, Girl in the Fireplace, The Empty Child etc.). Just a bit of fun for those of us who remember the old days. It's now on YouTube:

Number Theory - Desert Rose Universe
Recently Completed:
Songs in Red and Grey - Special Projects Series
Blood, Sweat and Tears - Stand Alone

I've just gotten into Doctor Who while in Oz and I really like David Tennant's Doctor. So I'm bummed to read that the 2009 specials will be it for him. :(

I feel your pain. I could never hang with it after Tom Baker left.

I was so disappointed when I heard this. I thought I'd never get over Chris Eccleston leaving, but David Tennant is just so infectious and endearing.

I'm just trying to keep an open mind...
