Get an LCD or LED or whatever these bright ones are and they will wake you right up. Even when it's nearly bedtime and really not a good idea to wake up. At least that's my experience.

Been sitting on the floor for the weekend assembling my new PC. Now I'm sitting here with RSI watching files CRAWL off the backups back onto my RAID array. Also tired as hell, but at least I get a quad core out of it.

Dark Rain, just noticed your signature text. You are correct about the sculpting. I was just thinking about a habit I have, which I am trying to break - certain phrases :censored: I use when I stub my toe or drop something delicate which then shatters. I know exactly who I picked the phrases up from and it was 35 years ago! Hmm, this habit is going to be as hard to break as some people say about trying to stop smoking! :duh:

I think Dark might have the greatest non-Trek related Avatar I've ever seen!

It's not non-Trek related. In a Voyager episode we learned that Earth's dinosaurs did evolve into space faring creatures. I'm sure many of the dinosaur teenagers of that period has such posters on their walls.

WHAT! jT site which episode please, is it the one where Tom and Kathryn turn into lizards. Because I was certain they said it was possible humans MIGHT evolve into lizards. But it was a guess.

Well now I know I'm in pain... I haven't even taken the drugs yet and I was all muddled and confused. I get it now. Sorry for being such an idiot.

So I feel a little better about the (stupid) poetry project now. I went to the GA's office hours for help, just to make sure I'm on the right track and everything. She said she was very impressed with my interpretation, which is what she usually has to wrestle out of people. I just needed to draw out a couple of things, and she said that from what she could tell, it was mostly because of what so many of us fall victim to as we're inside our own heads with the paper for several days, that we take it for granted that others will see the same connections we do. Easy fixes, so all in all I was pleased. As much as the project intimidated me and I dreaded it, it's going surprisingly well. 8)

 I had a similar poetry analysis experience way back when, so I wasn't worried for you!

Thanks. 8) I still don't like it, but I'm not so worried about looking stupid when I turn the thing in. ;-)

The thing is interpiting any art is a subjective process. So I very much doubt that if you work hard and put a lot of careful thought into it anyone could look stupid. My English Professor rarely considered well thought out analaysis' "wrong" even when we had such radically different opinions. And knowing how hard you work, I very much doubt you will look anything but thoughtful and hardworking.

Not according to the New Criticism method we're supposed to use, many aspects of which I fundamentally disagree with.

I'm very high on demerol right now because I stupidly hurt my back. But could you explain the method you are being taught. I find it mindboggling that this cannot be subjective.
