Re: New members, introduce yourselves here!
Thanks, and thanks for moving this post for me. I was looking to see if there was a generic newbie thread, and must have missed it. Forgive me, it's been about as long a time-gap since I've been active on a forum as it's been since I managed to write fic =p

Re: New members, introduce yourselves here!
I'm looking forward to more fic soon, and feel free to jump into conversation on the forum. We've been a bit quiet lately. (Some of us old timers probably feel as if we've already had all the arguments a few times over... I know I often do.)
OMG, ANOTHER new chapter! NORTH STAR Chapter 28

Re: New members, introduce yourselves here!
Thanks everyone
I hope I can have some fun on the boards, although at the moment my show-related knowledge is at a minimum...I haven't actually rewatched any episodes since this revival started (just watched and rewatched many key scenes, lol), although I'm planning a full-on run through of the series soon. My time is unfortunately limited, though...I work 7 days a week (sometimes 7.5!), and I actually have to take time off my second job in order to do my third, which is what I'm doing this weekend
Yep, I'm crazy...but paying off student loans faster than I expected.
I'm hopeful more fic is coming (perhaps some vidding, too...been even longer since I finished one of those, but there's been a spark of late). In fact I managed to put a little bit down on paper last night, although it kept me up later than planned (I need to be super alert this weekend lest I get kicked in the head - and no, that's not an exaggeration!), but I don't regret it - I just hope I can stick with it.
Thanks again for the welcome! I look forward to checking out more of the site and the forum. Seems like a great place!

Hello Jamieson.
Must say I found your profile very intriguing. Combining archeology and diving with martial arts, I have to admit my imagination is conjuring up a Lara Croft-like character.

Re: New members, introduce yourselves here!

All in all it's probably a good thing I'm not Lara Croft...I don't quite have the "assets" to pull it off

Re: New members, introduce yourselves here!

Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four
And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Re: New members, introduce yourselves here!
Not quite a new member but I just wanted to tell everyone where the heck I've been over the past 4 or 5 years.
Well, lets see. I was very busy doing the following:
I decided that I missed writing so I started working on an old story I had started years ago. I also decided that I missed TriS.
Well, lets see. I was very busy doing the following:
- I lost 60lbs and I'm now a hot chick again
- Divorced an overly controlling man
- Fought a custody battle and got half time with my kids.
- Got myself a decent boyfriend who also has no filter between his brain and his mouth and loves Star Trek as much as me.
- Moved twice.
I decided that I missed writing so I started working on an old story I had started years ago. I also decided that I missed TriS.
Writing as TrekPyro.

Hi coffee,
Sad that your life has taken so many difficult turns. It does sound like you have found some joy in life again. Very happy that you are thinking about tapping keys.
