We're on health food here now. No bacon. My husband's cholesterol was close to 300 and his HDL was a rather pathetic 20. We've been eating lots of fish, chicken and health food. The good news would be that since I started packing him a lunch and not letting him bring junk food in the house, he's lost 20 lbs. Fish. Yum. I need some new recipes or something. Flax seed anyone? :neutral:

We'll have to trade fish recipes next time we get together. I'm a big fan of fish, partly because it's just so easy to cook. Alas, the kid won't touch it. He doesn't mind the idea of slaughtering mammals like beef, cows, pigs, but a fish! Oh my God, how could we??? Very protective of bugs, too. He's got his eating morals completely backwards.

Aw I think it's cute. Anyway Seafood is the reason I won't go vegetarian, I can live without bacon and sausage (albeit a little reluctantly) but not seafood. I probably should go vegetarian, they say it's the best diet for my blood type. But if anyone wants any recipes I've got plenty Grandpa's a fisherman. And sometimes we'd have fish every day.

I hate to sound prissy but I need to get this off of my chest. I'm a pretty darn good cook. I made fettichini and clam sauce from scratch yesterday for the very first time and it is SO good. Almost as good as my mother's. I'll never pay for it at the Italian take out place again! I'm just shocked because it was a first attempt.

I thought this would be happy news, but be careful what you wish for. I have no work to do today! I got caught up at the office. I cleaned my desk. I learned to use Adobe Acrobat to make pdfs. Now what?
