I thought this would be happy news, but be careful what you wish for. I have no work to do today! I got caught up at the office. I cleaned my desk. I learned to use Adobe Acrobat to make pdfs. Now what?

I know, horrible when work is slow. Maybe nice cup of coffee?

Never fear. Now I am photocopying an endless stack of old documents going back 20 years.

I still say you can get away with fanfic writing on a legal pad. Then again, my job used to be answering phones, and filing lost children's reports. Although they asked me notto do that when I threatened to kill the next set of parents that lost their child while at the bar.

OK, I did the test this Sunday and I think I've passed it. There is no official news yet, but I have high hopes.

So, one down, two to go.

Which brings the bad news. If I've passed the test, that means that you're not going to see me in a year or so. The next exam, an oral exam, will be around the last part of September or the first part of October. For this I'll be studying 16 hours per day (and I think 8 hours of sleep are too much), so I won't have much energy to post, much less to write (which it's something really sad, now that I was keeping a good pace.) If I pass this first oral, I will have the second oral exam in April or May. If I pass, I will be Judge, if I don't, this year the first oral exam's grade is kept for a year, so I'll have to study for April or May of 2011.

Congratulations, Escriba, wonderful that you have past your test. With a year of hard study ahead, take a little break. Good luck with your studies. It's a pity it's so time consuming, I am going miss your comments and stories this coming year. But for now:
