Mh...if it is not related to blood sugar, it could seem a transient ischemic attack, but you are too young for that. Your blood pressure? I think the better thing is that you stop working and go to a neurologist.
Be careful and take care of yourself.
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Yeah, insurance shouldn't balk -- you might have been having a stroke or something with the symptoms you were having. But this time of year I find insurance companies balk routinely. One, they always hope you'll give up or be too disorganized to fight (God help you if you really are dying or something and have to fight with them). Two, they hope to push the expense into the next fiscal year simply by stalling. I've spent the last two months insisting that NO I DO NOT HAVE ANOTHER INSURANCE CARRIER. I also had to provide evidence that I was married to my husband and that my son was our son. I think UHC is trying to delay payment and NY State is trying to save $$ anywhere it can.

Glad you're feeling better except for the cold.

(Dare I ask why you would take a stimulant for working out anyway? Is that what's commonly done? What's the reasoning behind it?)

Well, from my understanding of what they do, they speed up your metabolism over a short period of time and assuming you are going to work out, allow you to burn energy faster and hence push harder. The real way that you build muscles is by how far you can manage to push them and tear the fibers so that during recovery, they grow back stronger. The limit to how far you can push is how much energy and how much power you can generate, but I think the idea behind these (commonly taken as "diet pills", even though they don't do crap if you don't work out), is to help you burn calories and push muscles harder than you could on your own.

I've used them plenty of times in the past with positive results. This stuff is a little different, a little bit of a newer variant than I'd used before but I doubt it's very much different. They actually suggest you take 2 a day after you've gotten started and I've still only been taking 1. But I guess I can just drop em for a little while and just rely on the vitamins. Once I got started, I was going to start taking other stuff (google AnimalPak) which is not a stimulant but basically a big whey/herb supplement pack.

I'm sorry I don't understand why you would need to take something like that. I mean your pictures show you to be in pretty good shape, and you're a nice looking guy. I mean I get that you like hard core workouts, but I don't think you need help. I'm not saying it's bad or anything, just IDK you look fine to me.

Herbs are drugs too. Yes, they are "natural" but they have been selected over hundreds of years to be traditional medicine because they do something. Careful! Extra protein and work out the old fashioned way.

Supplements like stimulants, herbals, and isolated amino acids are, in my experience, generally a waste of money at best and dangerous at worst. Extra protein and lots of working out are the two safest, cheapest, and most effective ways to get a healthier and leaner frame. Most supplements on the market do nothing, but the ones that do can be dangerous. Fatal strokes have occurred following the use of ephedra containing products. The herbs in Xenadrine act like ephedra. Asso is right. This could have been a TIA. It's not likely in someone so young, but it's possible. If I'd had symptoms like Elessar described after using such a supplement I wouldn't just "lay off for now". I'd never put the stuff in my mouth again. Getting "cut" a little faster isn't worth the risk of dying of a stroke.

And considering someone nearly died of a stroke at church today, I gotta say the idea doesn't thrill me. Come on Boss you're too special! Dairy protine build muscle faster than meat protine, a few glasses of low fat milk a day can do wonders. And nuts lots of nuts, break out the almonds and the pecans.

I'd never heard that about dairy vs meat protein. Doesn't make sense to me that that would be the case. Do you have a source for that info?

O no I just read it in a doctors office one day. Hmm, I think think I read it in WebMD magazine. But Dis I'm in the Drs. office at least 3 times a month on average. Do you know how many medical magazines that is? I know I didn't read it in a tabloid.

Two Docs say TIA, I'll keep that in mind. For now I'll lay off the Xenadrine and when I go in to see my doc next week some time I'll tell him everything that happened and ask him if it would have been a TIA.

I'm glad that you are feeling better now and hope that it was nothing serious.

Holy crap, Boss That's some scary stuff there. Take it easy, okay? And maybe follow up with your own regular doctor. My mom's an RN and she says that ER docs are fabulous in that they know quite a bit about a lot of different things, but that doesn't compare to dealing with your own doctor who knows what's normal for you, or a specialist who is specifically trained to deal with the symptoms you're having and treat the conditions that would cause them.

Ellesar, I worked out when I ws in my mid 20's no stimualates, they had a terrible reputation then. took my time building up. Didn't get huge but was satified with the results. I ceertainly never had any ractions to workouts just tired and my muscles hurt but that was normal.

I am sorry fr what you have gone through. Sounds cary as Hell.
