I wasn't talking about you, DR. And I kinda guessed CX had at least seen a command line.

I am just being nostalgic. I started back when MS was still duking it out with IBM over whose OS was gonna prevail in the market place. WordStar was leading the pack for word processors, and my first personally owned computer was a huge (and hugely expensive) 8088/86 that ran at a blazing fast 4.47 Mhz. I wanted to be cutting edge so I dug deep and paid the extra to get my RAM upgraded to 640K. Nothing but the best for my family, I figured. The thing ran MS DOS 2.something and had a proprietary GUI of some kind included.
