That's true, but when I mention it I'm usually more upset about bigger things, like the imbeciles who decided that spreading what they euphamistically call "solid biowaste" over the aquifer in our town would be a good idea.

Here is the strange part.....my NIC can see my wireless Print server.

But it can't see the router?

Rebooting the router generally fixes the problem.


I'd just like to know why it does it.

heh.....I can fix a critical communications system for the Government.....but my home network is driving me batty.

Hey guess how much sleep I got last night. Like 2 hours. Well that new chick checked in she's actually nice, but she specifically requested a bottom bunk and they sent her to look for a bottom bunk in like the only 2 rooms that didn't have one, (for some reason ) and the poor girl was so frustrated, but it was like really late and she had to go somewhere so she ended up taking the top bunk above my bottom bunk. Then she comes back like in the middle of the night, and it wakes me up and she goes to sleep and I try to fall asleep again, it's really not her fault though it's just really hard for me to fall asleep when someone's snoring like a chainsaw it's even harder to fall asleep being aware of the fact that she weighs like 300 lbs while my very own big fat ass has broken plenty top bunks to date and I don't even weigh like half of that. And it's even harder to fall asleep trying to brace myself in some kinda "crash position" for an unfortunate yet not unlikely event of getting buried under like 400+ lbs of human, mattress, and wooden boards, which might be like a safer position but it's not very sleep-friendly so I couldn't fall asleep. And then the whole usual routine of 100y/o Bag Lady and Boom started like every night, with a pissed off 100y/o Bag Lady kicking Boom's stuff all over the place, kicking trash cans etc, Boom stomping and turning the frelling light on, starts unpacking and repacking her bags at like 5am, standing on my stuff and a whole bunch of loud and annoying stuff. Which Alarm Clock Lady like totally slept through without even moving. And I ended up not being able to fall asleep at all because all the commotion kept me up till morning.

Fanfiction.net is weird well I've never uploaded anything to FFN before but I just realized I actually have an account, so since I have some fics too why not use it. But it's kinda weird.

I actually like fanfiction.net. Then again, I'm a creature of habit who won't upgrade to Yahoo! mail beta because I'm used to the version I have. Some of these other sites that other people like better... nah, I'll stick with what I know and like.

As for FFN what does "Doc Label" mean?? What the frell am I supposed to put there??

Just put the title. It's set up so if you uploaded 2 stories/chapters, you'd have the document label to identify them.
