Re: Randomness
Today I started my 3 day course on job safety and job health care. The course gives me the right to represent workers in job safety issues or be companies job safety specialist. Next week I'll be taking the first aid giver course.

Yes, exactly. It's absolutely useless. The worst thing is that there is people who thniks this is serious. C'mon...

So, you're the guy who tells the companies which security measures they have to take and give them advice about them, aren't you?

Re: Randomness
Basically yes if I'm pointed as the workers representative or if I'm appointed as the job safety specialist by the employer. The responsibilities vary a little one representing the workers and the other one the company but the job is basically the same.

Re: Randomness
Today I decided that I'm gonna take the courses certificate for job safety specialist because it allows me to make extra money and has a little different demands (renewal course every 5 years). Today I learned how to make a work place risk analysis.

You can do that with older versions of it and with Internet Explorer, too.

Re: Randomness
That was quick. What do they expect you to be able to do after such little training?

Re: Randomness
I'm authorized to make safety manuals and give safety lectures to employees, make risk analysis of the job site, analyze what safety measures are needed demand the implementation of those(proper safety training, safety gear, safe job techniques etc ).

Naturally, they have to be from my home state. Naturally, they have to be from the base closest to me home town. Naturally, this is the same base as the bomb-loading crew that accidentally loaded real nukes instead of dummy ones onto a B-52 that subsequently flew half-way across the country...

Re: Randomness
Yeah, me too.
I have a random question: Is there any real difference between an MP3 player and an Ipod? Why does one cost so much more than the other? If you have a Sony CD player that says it can accept an MP3 player, does that mean it will also accept an Ipod? And does cost matter at all with these things or is it just memory and a good pair of earphones?
I want to be able to cart vids around, but I also want to be able to record music at my folks' -- and maybe get some people telling stories. (My Dad has a little recording studio set up.) I want to make a video for their 50th anniversary next May.
