I plan on sticking around as long as I can - as long as my brain remains functional, I'm happy to be here. But my Dad has a severe TBI and lives in a facility with people in similar condition - and I would rather go out quick than end up in a place like that.

I think that most of us would like to live to a ripe old age IF we still had our facilities, our brains were clear and minds functioning on all clynders. Dementia scares hell out of me as does alkheimers (sp) senility. Problem is some get old and have everything then there are those who are alive and physically healthy but not mentally. My Mother who is 94 is healthy as a horse but she has alcheimers.

Of course there are other things that Old age brings: blindess, hearing loss so total that Hearing aids don't help. with those two one is cut off ffrom the world. Only contact being tactile. As it is said Growing Old is not for sissies.

Well at least if you are very, very, very, very old, your death is not unexpected and you probably prepared for it - leaving a will and such.
Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.

At the healthy age of 110 I'd like to die in a tragic blimp accident. ;-)

Well if I had to choose, I'd flatline on an operating table. That way I don't know a thing.

But, KTR, at 110 wouldn't you rather be shot by an outraged Husband? so much more Romantic.

No, no, T-Pol or Jolene wouldn't shoot him at 110 they would keep him if he was still active at that age he would be worth keeping. the outraged Husband would be Trip.

How do I want to die? Hmmm. I don't.

But if I HAVE to, I'd rather go in my sleep in my own bed after a nice day visiting with my great-great-grandkids. :D

Nah! Nothing romantic about cheating (unless we're talking about a woman married to a Koss), but even then I'd probably balk. I'm no Tiger Woods... :-p

I knew there was a reason I think you're cool KTR. But I don't think Koss deserves that. Hey do you think you would steal her from Trip after her divorce? Because then maybe you could get shot by him, or he'd have Malcolm do it.
