Sorry. A very quiet life, isn't it?
There a song here: VOGLIO UNA VITA SPERICOLATA, VOGLIO UNA VITA COME Steve McQueen...

Want a rude life
One of those lives like that
I want a life that doesn't give a damn
That doesn't give a damn about anything yeah
I want a life in which it's never late
(A life) in which I never sleep
I want a life in which you never know

And then we'll meet like celebrities
and drink whisky at the Roxy Bar
Or maybe we'll never meet
Everybody so busy with one's own troubles
Everybody with one's travel of life
Everybody different
Everybody basically lost
In their own business

I want a reckless life
I want a life like those you see in the movies
I want an extreme life
I want a life like Steve McQueen's
I want a life in which it's never late
in which you never sleep
I want a life, I want it full of troubles
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Why would you want a life full of troubles?

Seriously, why? :vulcan:

We know Sarek survived the death of Amanda, and he even remarried (Perrin?). I would think Vulcans would have developed coping mechanisms after the death of their mates. I don't really like the idea of them dying right after their spouses do. Sorry, but I don't think that's romantic.

What is this discussion doing in the "What are you..." thread anyway? :vulcan:

No? Strange.
Anyway we aren't talking about usual couples.

 Scottish and Swedish rationalism meets Italian romanticism.

I don't remember how we got into this in this thread.

It just smacks too much of the notion that neither person has a worth as a person but only as part of a couple. I could see it if they were roughly the same (old) age, but for someone who's otherwise in perfect health - and T'Pol would have many, many years left of a natural Vulcan life span - to keel over just like that... Nope!

That of course doesn't preclude her not grieving. Far from it. And a severed Bond would be a further strain. But it makes no logical sense for Vulcans to not have developed proper coping mechanisms. For example, if the pair still has young children, it would be cruel indeed for them to suddenly lose both parents.

Hey! Don't you think Scottish and Swedish rationalism have a mess of hidden Italian romanticism? ;-)
Anyway you're right. KTR is talking from logic. This doesn't satiate me.

ASSO, Italian and Irish romantics. I love Opera too.

Irish are great romatntics. they cry over a beautiful poem. Irish are in love with language of Love. Irish are in love with Language. They are romatics deep down. Like the Italians.

ASSO and I are soul mates in that.

KTR writes beautifully no doubt about that. Howver, I think he needs a little romance in his
soul. (just kidding)

I have heard of several instances of one spouse dying soon after the other simply because they could not bear the loss. It does happen. so why not T-Pol choosing to give up 30 years left to her to accompany her one true love into eternity. Who knows perhaps
there is an afterlife and TnT go there never to be parted again.

If T'Pol strongly believed in an afterlife -- sure. But I'm willing to bet she doesn't. And it would be more like another eighty years, wouldn't it?

And yes, Asso, even Scots and Swedes have deep springs of romance in them. Your romantic feelings, on the other hand, burst out like explosive geysers! Or indeed, soar like Italian opera. 8)

I guess. Hmmm.

KTR, we actually got to this (I checked) because panyasan was trying to figure out something regarding "Terra Prime" so it all sprouted from a 'what are you watching?' post.
