You, KTR? No, somehow I'm certain I already know the answer.

Since nobody gave another question, I'll toss out a variation: If you were stranded on a desert island, which Trek character would you least want to end up with?

A: Wesley Crusher. If we got rescued, they'd find me sitting on the beach, cracked and chipped seashell covered in blood protruding from Wesley's decomposing skull, flies, keeping me company

"Bistecca alla fiorentina", of course! (Sorry, I wasn't able to resist! :D )

Alelou wrote: If T'Pol had nothing else to eat in a survival or captivity situation, would she eat meat? And if so, what would she think of it?

She's a logical woman, so she would do it. And maybe (secretly) she would enjoy it. You know: I don't think a logical race could deny to itself a complete diet.
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Uh, nope. He sinks like a rock.

Question: The Vulcans don't like water, especially deep water, in large amounts, but to have a lot of it available would be quite a luxury for them. So is it Standing Room Only at every Jacuzzi and kiddie pool in San Fran?

I'd say the Gorn Captain, actually.

I think that'd be quite the sight, huh? I can see why Vulcans would be nervous of the ocean, but maybe some of them could take up swimming in a pool?

Q: Who do you think would be T'Pol's favorite painter? Renoir? Van Gogh? Da Vinci? Picasso? Someone else?

I'd say it might be any of the High Renaissance painters, esp. the ones who moved away from religious imagery, but before they moved on to stormy emotional Baroque art. On the other hand, perhaps one of the 19th-century landscape painters might be it. I guess I can't name a single painter as much as a style.

Question: If you could take the basic concept of any one ENT episode (except *the_abomination* which doesn't count since... well, it just doesn't) and rewrite the episode, which ep would you choose and how would it go?

She chooses interesting fabrics when she's in her civvies, but we get no clue about any tastes she might have in terms of the visual arts, other than clunky Vulcan shields and candles. I could imagine her preferring the more geometric sculptors and painters who also incorporate interesting color, like Mondriaan http://search.live.com/images/results.a ... FORM=RPIR9
or Barnett Newman
http://search.live.com/images/results.a ... ORM=RPIR13
or this guy http://search.live.com/images/results.a ... ORM=RPIR11

JK beat me to posting so I bow to her question!

Actually, he's been shown, canonically, to do both. In one episode (or movie) he sinks and in another he flat out says he's been designed to serve as a flotation device and puffs up and floats. The two contradicting scenes can be found in a youtube bloopers collection. :)

It was Star Trek Insurrection, Data walked on the lake bottom to investigate readings, but when the woman was in the water and clearly couldn't swim he activated his floatation equipment claiming he could be used as a floatation device.

But I think Picard was enjoying helping her. :D

Well, I think... Some of those painters who made those "old oil paintings"?

If it was up to me, I would say Canova, or Rodin. You know:
Eros and Psyche

I think we can safely assume that's one of YOUR favorites!

There's another reason to assume T'Pol is no art scholar -- her outrage at Trip's romantic little compliment. Poor T'Pol. It's not like he showers her with endearments, and there she really missed one!

The Seventh. (Though I kinda did that with "Green Ice"). I'd make T'Pol more of what a Vulcan Security agent SHOULD be, put Malcolm in the party (he IS the Tactical/Armory/Security chief, last I checked) and give something for Travis to do, since he's there. Poor Anthony Montgomery).

Q: If you were a ST character (any era), what race, specialization, and duty station would you have? (I'd be Human, either Medical or Engineering, NX-01) :D

I do believe "The Seventh" would be my choice as well.
Q: If you were a ST character (any era), what race, specialization, and duty station would you have? (I'd be Human, either Medical or Engineering, NX-01) :D
I have long maintained that these ships need historians and/or ethnographers, people trained to study history and culture. That is what I would be. So my duty station would probably be some teensy-weensy little office where I sat until there was suddenly a Major Crisis that Only I Could Solve. ;) I'd be in any era, I suppose. As for race, human or Trill. I have this Trill fascination, see.

Toss up between... reverse psychology on hostile aliens... paradox to defeat AI and women who can't afford clothes that fit.

Question: In all the Star Trek series, which under developed or hinted at relationship would you like to have seen developed or explored? And why.

(Lets not all rush to say TnT)

A: I'm gonna go out on a limb sounding like a chauvenist and say Janeway and Seven. Why? Because it's unconventional.

Q: As was supposedly planned, would you have liked to see Guinan on a Season 5 episode of Enterprise?
