What are you:

Watching:
Heroes, CSI (all series), Lost, Due South, Boomtown, ENT. I watched House of Wax last night and it was shocking. 2 hours of my life that I'll never get back.

Reading:
A bunch of documents from the Harry Truman Library in Missouri, also a book on Congressional conservatism and anti-communism in the US in the '40s. On a Saturday afternoon as well; I lead such a fast life. In the evenings I have been trying to get back into fiction but end up reading more thesis-related stuff, alas. Confused

Listening:
Linkin Park, U2, Bruce Springsteen, Otis Redding, also the Pride and Prejudice (Keira Knightly version) soundtrack - I can't have wordy-songs on while I work; strictly music-only!

I like soundtracks for while I'm working too. The ones to Last of the Mohicans and Witness are my favorites.

Last of the Mohicans is a great one. Little Women is good as well, I've been listening to that recently too.

Don't laugh, but the soundtrack to Conan the Barbarian is a good one for working to as well. Cool

Wow. You guys are interesting.

Reanok, you're reading about the Hubble Space Telescope? I read Hubble Wars, but it was only about the telescope's first disappointing year. I hated it. M.M. will read Guns, Germs and Steel? I'm impressed. I listened to it on tape. A REALLY comprehensive history/evolutionary explanation of well EVERYTHING? up to present times. Yes, it's amazing, but I could only take it in small doses. Too much like my work . . . In fact, I think I had to summarize that book for work.

I hate to give you my list:

I watch House and Trading Spouses.

I'm reading Bangkok 8, a murder myster/thriller set in Thailand.

I'm not listening to anything! Stupid I-Pods. Too much silence these days . . . the kids don't play their music where I can hear it.
I'm donating my body to science fiction.

Watching: I have been watching "Top Gear" and "Wives and Daughters" and "Stargate Atlantis". I went to see a really good German movie last week, but I don't know the name in English so have to check that.

Reading:For my final exams. Currently reading Differential geometry:about manifolds, tensors, vector spaces and so on.

Listening:Mostly listening to radio channels "Basso" and also "Radio Helsinki" and "NRJ". Easy listening I'm too lazy to go trough my MP3 files when I'm trying to study.

Well, I am currently reading that one (as mentioned abovethread). It's very interesting. There is actually a three-part TV documentary made of it. When I caught one part I remembered that I actually had the book, but hadn't read it yet, so I picked it out of my bookshelf and started reading...

I've got the DVDs on reserve here at work. We have way more copies of the DVDs than we do of the book, so my turn should come around faster.
I was just over at the Baen Free Library http://www.baen.com/library/ Some good stuff has been added since I was last there. I wanted a smile, so I re-read some of Laumer's Retief stories. They've added Retief's Peace, which is a good thing. Smile

Watching
Not much. I'm not a huge TV person. I see a lot of "Frasier" reruns because my mom loves them.

Reading
Yesterday I finished Diplomatic Implausibility, a TNG novel that was actually pretty good, if you overlooked the fact that almost every Klingon known to the Enterprise-E crew was on the same ship. I've also been reading The Case for Faith, which is awesome.

Listening To
Currently, the dishwasher running and my cousin's dog breathing. As for music, my current favorite CD is Daughtry.

*shudder* One of my roommates, or former roommates now I suppose I should say, liked them. Gah. What a horrible noise to wake up to.
