I remember when my oldest was 3 or 4, I told him to pick up his toys in his room. He picked up a toy phone and says "Uncle Dave, will you take care of me? My mommy is telling me what to do!" Like all outraged.

I'm just curious. My dad worked at a paper in Westerly, Rhode Island for awhile.

the "Westerly" comes from the fact that EK and I both were born and bred on the West Coast... If the baby was a boy, we were going to be "Westerly" too... but for a first name.

I don't blame her if she's gonna throw up for nine months straight. I don't think I threw up for any of my kids. I worked or went to school until like the day before delivery, too. I LIKED being pregnant. It gave me an excuse to take naps and have people opens doors and stuff.

If I'd thrown up like EK, though, I doubt I'd have done it more than once. I can't function if I'm throwing up. I have no idea how she does it.

Hey at least she's cramp free for 9 months. NINE WHOLE MONTHS. I wish I had to stay in bed until like 4pm today. Nearly fainted several times since then. Almost threw up just thinking how I had to force myself to eat something. Still don't think that little bit of food is on its way down. My period hates me

Sounds miserable. Have you tried Aleve or a good dose of ibuprofen? (Like, double the one they say to start with on the bottle?) Before I had my kid, Advil was something I very deeply appreciated.
