Have you ever been on I-696, in the Mixing Bowl, during rush hour? :wtf:

Didn't think so.

No, but then I wouldn't presume to say one was worse than the other without seeing it for myself. Neither of us seems to have a basis for comparison.

Whine Thread? Hee is a whine of mine that may not be important in the scheme of life, but.

I continuinally sneeze when I get a chill. Sometimes as many as 20 times in a row. Until I manage to put something on or get to a warm room. Does this happen anyone else?

Sounds like non-allergic rhinitis, which is allergy-like symptoms due to intranasal histamine release triggered by temperature changes, strong odors, etc. Oral antihistamines don't work, but an intranasal antihistamine nasal spray like Astelin is what I treat it with, or intranasal steroids like Flonase. You've got to use the meds every day, though, since they take a couple of days to take effect and have to be in your nose when you get exposed to your triggers. Might be easier just to stay inside as much as possible when it's cold outside and carry tissues. 8)

Inside, outside. doesn't matter. A breeze blowing on me, Walk into a cold room. I get cold the sneezing starts. Don't want to put all that junk in my nose. I can live with the sneezing. It just annoys my wife. She swears I am doing it on purpose. But thanks for the advice.

I didn't know Astelin was a antihistimine and not a steroid. I also have a chronically stuffy nose and can't use the steroid sprays. They give me MAJOR nosebleeds! I'll ask my Doc about it next time. Thanks, Distracted, again!

Dear Custodians of the Pray-Harrold Building,

For obvious reasons, certain unpleasant odors are expected when one enters the second floor ladies' room. However, "wet dog" is not one of them. If you cannot correct this, can you at least explain it?

Thanks in advance.

Your friend,
Aquarius

Think of it this way. If it's H1N1 then you won't need the vaccine. 8)
