I won't mind if the Yankees WIN! Besides it's the only sports I actively watch on TV all year. I follow my team closely of course, but watching sports I am convinced is bad for your blood pressure, win or lose!

Red Wings hockey always used to mess up Enterprise in Detroit...and of course back then the Wings were at their peak, so the season would just go on and on and on and on and on and on...

Hockey can be pretty sexy to watch, and I met the NY Islanders some years ago just after they won the gold medal at the winter olympics in Japan. My sister is obsessed with it now that she lives in Canada. Like I said if my guys win, it will be worth it.

Here's my whine. I am in tremendous pain, my CP has decided it must be a little more painful than usual, and I want an IV of Fentynal. Two glasses of wine have not helped. And I can't take Demerol and stay alone. So I must suffer.

No worries I'm OK. Just miserable. Oh and I don't sleep. Unless you count four broken hours a night/day sleep. And I don't usually go into REM. Saw two of the best sleep DRs. in the state and they don't know why or what to do about it. Pills make me hyperactive.

In Pittsburgh, we had an X-Files interruption so ill-timed people still talk about: Through some miracle whose details I forget, Mulder was FINALLY able to talk with his sister, his REAL SISTER, arguably the climax of the whole series, and just as he began to speak, the audio went silent and an emergency broadcast message ran over top of the visuals, something like a severe thunderstorm or tornado warning. ARGGGHHH!!!! Because of the outcry, that show was actually rerun a week later in Pittsburgh.

EXACTLY JT! I've been there and gone through the situation House is going through, and I'm a heck of a lot younger. I even did time in psych ward when it all got too much. BUT I don't think myself an entitled, self-righteous, jackass, because I got a raw deal. So I go to the pain Dr today to see what to do, hopefully something can be done and I won't react badly to it. Because I did the near death thing the last time I went to the pain Dr. Anyway thanks for the support.

Today is my 20th wedding anniversary and my husband has to work late, he probably won't get home until 10:00. Just like yesterday and the day before. He probably won't be home tomorrow night and he just informed me that he is going to the Bears game on Sunday. I'm lonely and feeling very sorry for myself. Everyone seems to have forgotten. The only person who wished me a happy anniversary was my mother. Considering the rough times we've been through (we were sepaated separated twice) I think this is a major accomplishment. I'm going to go have a glass of wine (or whine) now and watch TV.

We did go away for the weekend two weeks ago and had an okay time. Don't want to go into it, but there was tension. I insisted we go away, wasn't a good idea. Forget the wine, I think I'll just go brood
