IDK jT I can barely stand the original first one, and Charlton Heston is practically naked the entire thing...

That said, I'm gonna do girls night and see The Help this coming weekend. I'll let you all know how it goes.

You didn't like the original "Planet of the Apes"???!!!! How? . . . but . . . Huh. :(

I'm halfway through the book, "The Help." I'm getting bored. (I typically quit half the books I read. :?) Post a review of the movie. Maybe I should go to that instead.

I'm on vacation. My kids sleep in till noon each day, so I'm using the time to rewatch season 7 of Voyager. My brain is like a seive. I don't remember any of this, so I am on the edge of my seat as each "mystery" unfolds, lol . . . Thoroughly enjoying this. Ahh! There are some advantages to old age. I need to leave a note for whoever is taking care of me in the old peoples's home: play old Star Trek episodes for me! And RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES, lol

Oh, and I saw "The Help" with my mom. That's worth seeing. Probably a women's movie.

Glad to hear you're on vacation and seem to be enjoying it a lot. And yes, I agree - there are some advantages to old age (I see it every day (since the senior/disabled building I live in is probably around 75% seniors and 25% disabled like I am), but dear, you are a long way off from contemplating what you'll do in "the old people's home" someday. I'm seven years older than you are and I'm still seven years too young to qualify for any of the programs our senior citizens here get, so enjoy your youth, Kiddo - I envy you still being in your 40's, thats for sure!

Yeah, I love Voyager too (even though I prefer Enterprise); but while I bear no ill will towards your beloved Tom Paris, I would've much preferred to see B'Elanna end up with Chakotay instead, maybe it's just the Maquis sympathizer in me, :evillol:

Daddy complexes are not healthy. Besides not even Chakotay would have the guts to tell B'Elanna "you've been spitting venom for days and frankly it's getting boring," I like a relationship where it's okay to get in each other's faces when you see something wrong and go, "hey I love you I'm here now cut it out!"

More importantly, unlike Chakotay and TnT they NEVER EVER gave up!
