It's possible he does. During one of his matches his goggles filled up with water and he couldn't see and he still BEAT THE WORLD RECORD! BLIND! Obviously he's going to start fighting crime in an Orange Shirt and Green Pants. Get this man a trident for he is the King of Atlantis. The next headline with his name in it will be about how he's joining the justice league.

Yeah, I know that this to the people in US is nothing, with the one million and half medals you already have in this competition, but for us is amazing!! :D

Tell me watching that match was not like watching gay porn. All that grunting and panting--JESUS. But yes I was rooting for Nadal, too, though for a moment there he was making it easy for Djokovic, but I'm glad he was able to pull through. I'm looking forward to the ALL Latin final match on Sunday.

Ohhh... yes... Nadal vs Fernando González (Spain vs Chile).

It's going to be tough (matches with two people who talk the same language and can understand the insults the other is saying are always interesting  )

Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Anyone think Dana Torres is doping? I don't. I think she's a world class athlete who works her rear right off but hell, a lot of cynics have done nothing but disparage her over and over and over again. She passes the tests, leave her be.

Personally, I don't. She is on an incredibly aggressive testing program, including bloodwork. I think what she's doing is fantastic.

Little worried about her ability to beat the Dutch girl, though....it'll be a tough race.

I guess lots of people here are going to go for all nighters. The match is at 4 AM for us.

If González wins it's going to be our only medal...so let's hope he does. :D

I agree. She looks like an athlete at her peak. Not a doper. I do have to say though, last night during one of the women's heats/final's, I can't remember but there was a female swimmer with arms so beefed up I had flashbacks of the East German women swimmers (who WERE doping) from the Los Angeles and Soel Olympics.

Oh yeah, I've been going to bed at 2 - 3 in the morning the past week.

Even if it destroys my nerves, I want an interesting match (even if González wins at last). A real thrashing of any of them isn't good, they deserve to lose and win with honor.

I don't think she's doping, with so many time in competition, if she took something she would have been caught years ago.

Have you seen her on the cover of time? I'm twenty five, if I ate nothing all day, worked out all night, and ran twenty miles before going to bed I would never look like that and I'm a man!

Dude, i saw that. That was amazing. He was so pissed about that water in his goggles. He goes, "I could have gone faster", hahaha. It's so funny because at this point he's breaking his own 3rd and 4th consecutive records on some shit. You have to go back 12 months to find a record in an event he swims BY SOMEONE ELSE. He's a prodigy.

I'd like to state for the record that 4 years ago I said he'd be the Michael Jordan of swimming as long as he kept up what he as doing b/c he was only 19. See, SEE!

You ladies are funny. Nadal's a machine. And he's on a real high after Wimbledon. It'd be cool to see him win the Gold... but another Nadal/Federer matchup would have been so much more exciting :?

She probably pumps a lot of protein to build muscle mass, and she might even take creatine, but I doubt either of those two things are considered "performance enhancers". I mean there's two things here, 1. I know two different girls who had a baby and went back below her pre-pregnancy weight in just a few weeks and looks amazing. Now, they're in their 20's, but it can happen. 2. She was an olympic swimmer BEFORE having a child, she was just retired. So she already had the genetics and preconditioning for it. It just required some really, really balls-to-the-wall, no-quit training. I don't think she's doping.

Actually, I just remembered something - because of this issue, of making this come back, she has actually insisted on undergoing a higher level of Olympic drug testing than required.

If cloning is ever perfected, I suggest that Phelps and Torres combine DNA to create a race of superhuman fish people. Kind of like the Mariner from Waterworld but without the suck.

MICHAEL PHELPS SEVEN GOLD MEDALS. ONE, ONE HUNDRETH OF A SECOND!!!!!!!!! Gah, I don't think I breathed the entire time watching this race. :faint:

ETA: Oh lawd. Cavic's coach is filing a protest contesting Michael Phelp's win. What is there to protest? :explode:

I believe that his protest will mostly involve: "He's Micheal Phelps, the son of Poseidan, child of the Seven Seas, Raised by Mermaids and Dolphins. It's unfair that he's competing against mere mortals."

Dana Torres just beat a sixteen year old kid. Holy crap.
