Travis...replace him with a recurring character (after all, there are other shifts on the Bridge, right?), and maybe use that to introduce other ST races (hmm..a Betazoid? Caitian? Tellarite? Another Vulcan, to make things more complicated for TnT? Ooooh...plot bunny! )

If I remember right, O'Brien started as a recurring character on TNG, but eventually got more to do until he became a main character on DS9. I think that's a good way to introduce a new character. They should've done that with Hess, or Rostov.

Q: We know Archer went to Stanford, and if you believe in *the abomination*, Trip was self-taught (which I don't. I still think he went to University of Florida). Assuming that the others went to a college/university, which ones did each main character go to for undergrad/Masters/PhD?

Immunity Challenge: Some overly complicated way to get cheese from the top of the warp reactor and feed it to Porthos. First to get kicked out: Archer. He just sits bossing everyone around instead of trying to build a fire or cook rice or go fish or something!

T'Pol: paprika (not so much an allergy, but I like the idea that Vulcans can't process certain human herbs and/or spices)
Trip: bee stings, which is where his dislike of bugs comes from
Hoshi: penicillin
Travis: chocolate
Phlox: coffee
Archer: none; he's invincible

Question: In general, which species would be hardest to have an interspecies relationship with? (Um, the Borg don't count, okay?)

Archer---Klingon (ha!) or an Andorian (The "other" Archer married Esilia).
T'Pol---Trip
Trip---T'Pol
Malcolm---Andorian. (Too bad Talas was killed off. They would've made quite a couple.)
Hoshi---For some reason, I can see her with a Trill, Betazoid or Bajoran.
Travis---Considering his background, I think he's the most likely other than TnT to have an interspecies relationship. Trill or Betazoid.
Phlox---he has his 3 wives, but other than that...Human.

Q: Q shows up on the bridge of Enterprise NX-01. He offers to grant each senior staff member ONE of their heart's desires. Assuming it doesn't screw up the timeline, blow up any planets, or otherwise mess up Trek as we know it, what does each person wish for? (And give Archer something other than Super!Archer powers, please. LOL )
