Glad to hear that Wenya/Ludjin and the little one are doing well.

T'Poptarts, in my experience sometimes it IS best to let the little things slide or maybe politely tell the person that you would appreciate it if she'd give you a little privacy. Have you tried that? If talking with the person doesn't work, then I understand that you have a bit of a dilemma. But during your life you will have to deal with a lot of circumstances and a lot of personalities...at work and at home...and you will have to try to find the best way to handle those situations. Look at it this way. It's good practice.

Imagine being stuck in a place populated with a whole bunch of people who hate you and treat you as less than a human being. And you obviously can't stand them either. And they're there all the time and they see everything you do and they talk to you all the time and say the same old things and ask you the same old questions over and over and over and over and over again and you have to stop everything you do, you have to take a break from your own life and talk back to them because if you're busy and you don't have time to talk to them or do whatever it is they want you to do exactly when they want you to do it or if you dare standing up for yourself when you're mistreated by anyone then you get yourself in trouble for being like "unfriendly" and "unpleasant" and stuff. And it's not even "work". 24 hours a day 8 days a week. Without a moment's peace. With no privacy and no break and nowhere else to go and no family or friends and no one who cares and no refuge. But the internet. And there comes one of those really obnoxious people you really can't stand and tries to take even that. I'm not talking about like a close friend or something. I'd happily share with friends. Friends wouldn't abuse it. Not Obi. I hate her. This isn't a "little thing".

So like okay I'm younger than you but I still have plenty life experience. I know what kinda people exist out there and I know I'm gonna have to deal with those kinda people during my life. The thing is that's like the only kinda people I've been dealing with in my life. I'm not naive. If I were I wouldn't be so sarcastic and have such low expectations of the world

I certainly never meant to imply anything that would upset you further. Must be my mommy voice talking. My apologies. So you are surrounded by people that you dislike intensely and you are trying to survive. But please try not to have such low expectations of the world. (Now you sound like my 15 year-old son) You can't give up on people. Maybe on these folks...but not everyone. There are good people out there. There are people that care. We all care about you, right? Please don't give up trying. It must be very difficult feeling that you have no refuge or escape. Whenever I've felt like that, I've found that writing helps a lot. Ever try that? Or maybe something else that you are interested in? Something that gives you peace of mind? We all need some quiet time now and then. Constant stress sucks. And no problem is little when it's yours. Hopefully this rough time in your life will soon pass and things will get better. Hang in there.

Bether that's okay you don't have to apologize. And yeah I know people need quiet time. And I like to write and draw and do a lot of stuff. BUT like I said those people don't give me one second to do that. Like it's not about how to relax it's about when. I practically can't do my own thing, ever, because I have to do whatever everyone else wants me to do all the time or otherwise I'll get in trouble and they'll kick me out. Can't even multitask because how am I supposed to write like anything even a frelling post or a PM when someone's just talking talking talking talking talking talking talking and wouldn't shut up!! Plus I'm like totally dyslexic and it's hard for me to concentrate even without the distraction. I hate this place.

Ear Plugs. Buy them buy the sackful at any department store or sporting goods store. Or hardware store. Or drugstore.

Failing that, cheap headphones with a white noise tape.

I've got plenty earplugs. But I'd like totally get kicked out of here if I use it instead of listening and talking to everybody that'd be like "rude" and it's just gonna get me into troubles. Well and I don't think it would serve as a good excuse anyway because that lady who likes to talk to me would just make me unplug my poor little ears and listen and talk to her.

I've been a Trek fan since the mid 90's......however this is the first time I have been able to go to a convention.

I've had so much fun! I can't believe on how much I've missed out!
