Man, I just watched two eps of this series that never made it onto the air here (maybe nowhere else either) and they totally rocked. This show killed itself with slow pacing -- too much wind-up! Once the alien is FINALLY revealed, I think it's just fascinating.

Anyway, it may devolve into silly soap again (still have some episodes to go), but I'm really happy I rented this.

I finished the series. Thank God it didn't end with a Star Trek-style cliffhanger. It actually felt like an ending ... not an ending for the whole series, but it had a nice sense of closure for the main relationship. Cool.

This show just got more and more interesting once the aliens were really introduced. And these are REALLY alien aliens. I wish it had continued.

A while ago I saw an ad that said the "complete" first season was on DVD, and I know that there were more episodes that ABC was supposed to air but didn't. So I'm thinking of putting it in the Netflix cue.

And yeah, real aliens were a good thing.

I did it via Netflix myself. The eps that didn't air are on the last two disks.
