An disspite KTR an his country's New Toy,,, The US NAVY still also provides the Marines with the best cover fire in the world, as they take the beaches of the world.

Know a Veitnam Vet/Marine former Sgt, who was an artilary scout. He still insists to this day, that their was nothing more friegtning, an more welcomed then When ever he had to call in Fire support from the 16 inch guns of one of our battle ships. 8) Said it was like having a freight train coming in over your head. Not to mention that their was very little that was more devistating when it hit then those shells.

Well, I think the Royal Swedish navy is actually helping the US Navy a lot with our submarines. I read somewhere that Communist China has been launching a lot of smaller diesel electric subs (60+ or so), and you need to learn how to counteract that threat. Thus, the HMS Gotland!

AHHH! He was a foreward observer for an ANGLICO unit (Air-Naval Gunfire Liason Company). I really really really want to get into FO as a secondary billet after my first tour, I think that'd be so awesome.

Edit: I'd be an FO platoon commander or company commander.... not an FO-man, that's an enlisted billet, unfortunately.

The common pattern seems to be someone who is lost and alone, with nobody to give enough of a damn about them to step in and make it stop. The one you just posted where the boy was bullied for years, and he even made a web page announcing himself. Columbine, where the parents were only parents by courtesy and in name, who didn't bother their children enough to even walk into their own kids room and smell the reek of gun oil from an entire arsenal that they had hidden under their beds. This latest one with that young man who stopped taking his medicine, and nobody cared enough to notice or make an issue of it. That Korean boy who fell through the cracks and finally snapped. Every single one of them could have been prevented if only someone had given a rat's ass and taken responsibility.

Totally agree. It's when there's no voices of reason in your ear that you're going to let the small opinions of the jerks around you become too loud and overwhelming in your mind.

Regrettably, these problems are everywhere.
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.
