Is there really a lotta doubt about that? I don't post on any TSCC boards but I keep hearing a lot of doomsaying in the rumor mills. Is there substance to the risk of it not coming back?

I dunno but there's a lot of talk about it. Cuz like apparently they're not doing so good in the rating. I really hope they renew it :(

Well I just watched it. Interesting... I hope there's a next season
SPOILER!!!:
So like now they're all split up in the present and the future... that's pretty cool it's kinda like in Wolverine and the X-Men. But I'm probably like the only one who watch that  anyway. Um but now that future John doesn't exist because he was replaced with John-the-Amazing-Time-Skipping-Teenager-Who-Didn't-Grow-Up who sent Kyle to the past?? :? :?:

OMG just PLEASE don't bring back the Riley!! NOOOOOO!!!!! :explode: :censored: :faint:

Um and we didn't see any terminators having sex :p

Holy s**t that was awesome. They better make a third season(taking a threatening stance). The bedroom scene was a nice tease 8) .

Wait, that was the season finale???

Regarding the possible cancellation: it's been back and forth about that all along, it seems. Every so often there's articles about it from about.com's sci-fi guide.

OMG I KNOW! I was like: :explode:

He's on top of Cameron... she's topless, and he's about to kiss her... And she says it's time to go :doubt: Jesus woman!

I mean, ok. So in the last few episodes they had some little teasing moments where he saw her without a shirt or without pants, and then they had some real personal in depth conversations, like she admitting that deep down she wants to kill him and one day she might... and he was like ok with that... that's a pretty big intimacy step right there, between man and machine... So, are they just jerking us around indefinitely about John/Cameron, or are they just building it incredibly slow? One thing that depresses and pisses me off about this kind of pairing is that, IMO, flirting w/ the line and then going the other way is basically like saying "Oh hey maybe mankind is evolved and enlightened enough as evidenced by the example put forth by John Connor and his feelings for Cameron -- OHHH!!! maybe not, too bad." It's the exact same thing with Trip and T'Pol. That's why on a principle level, *the_abomination* dind't just piss me off as a TnTer, it pissed me off as a Star Trek fan. It's like riding that line of a morale to the story being that mankind has evolved beyond prejudices, only to back up and say, 'Haha, just kidding, no we haven't, that would never work, they're too different!". Like they're tempting us into believing Cameron's different - so now if she isn't, it's just a big dick-stomp. (That's what happens when someone stomps on your dick. It ruins your day.)

TP, do you think they're definitely going to split it up like that? IDK if it's just what i'd prefer to see but my initial instinct was that it was just going to be exclusively in the future now... And that raises interesting questions... Is Sarah still alive? What's the resistance look like, now? Will there ever be a Cameron built in the future? It's not that I don't like Sarah but she's kind of irritating lately. Can Sarah Connor exist in the same world as John Connor without being his overbearing mother? The savior and messiah of mankind can't exactly have his mother questioning his every move in front of his companeros now can he?

Another vital question:

What's the deal with Kyle and Allison walking up together?

Here's a funny thought, if they were trying to weave all the Terminator films together with this... Maybe that explains why John really sent his father back, even knowing he was his father, and that he was destined to die: Because he was cockblocking him from getting with Allison!!!

Think about that.... how much would you have to love a woman to rather that some dude was fucking your MOM rather than the GIRL?

I don't know what they're planning to do (if they have the chance :? :( ) but Sarah's in the present... so since it's supposed to be "Sarah Connor Chronicles" I'm guessing she's still supposed to have a prominent role :dunno:

Scoop: Fox set to terminate 'Sarah Connor Chronicles'
Resist the urge to nuke the messenger, but multiple sources are telling me that Fox will not be renewing Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles for a third season.

"It's done," maintains a source close to the show. "Everyone has pretty much known for a couple of weeks." Adds a network insider: "Consider it canceled."

The one bright spot? Despite horrific ratings, Fox isn't ready to declare SCC dead and buried -- at least not officially. "No decision has been made yet," insists a network rep. "We will be announcing our fall schedule on May 18."

Rough translation: It won't be back.

Oh, I just thought of one other bright spot: At least the show went out on top creatively. Last Friday's finale was an action-packed, closure-filled triumph. The only thing left unresolved is what Summer Glau will do for an encore. I'm thinking 24 should hire her as next season's Big Bad.

What do you think Glau should do next? Post your career advice -- and unofficial SCC eulogies -- in the comments section below.

Looks like I better wrap up my TSCC fic while the gettin's good at FF.net. It'll probably pique in popularity in the next several months and then start to take a RAPID dive the way traffic in the Enterprise section of TrekBBS did.

At least it will unleash a torrent of fanfic like one last ravenous gasp for life.

That's just not fair. The show was actually getting better and better.

I think their stupid "three dots" affair was Enterprise's Xindi Arc. It was just SOOO boring. I may be missing some in between that deserve credit too, but there should have been three episodes this entire season:

Samson and Delilah
Allison from Palmdale
Born to Run
"I call shotgun!"
"I call nine millimeter." - John and Cameron

I didn't get much into the three dots thing either, but the character dynamics and Shirley Manson's character were all getting really good.
