Whose depressed? I glory in my misanthropy. Ask anyone. Cool

I can't glory when we hunt each other and prey on the defenseless. Sorry.

Besides, I think people who are righteously indignant have a certain charm ( Wink KTR & Rigel).

The larger a society gets, the more likely that the laws of Darwin are to be replaced by those of Murphy. Laughing

Eject! Eject! Eject! Fantastic stuff. I wish I was this brilliant.

And I'd be remiss in pointing out that he's a fellow Gator.

I like this part especially: http://www.lileks.com/institute/index.html

(from the "Regrettable Food" section)

It's flavored with passionfruit
an appropriate ingredient, don't you think?

I said earlier in this thread that I'd only work on it if I'm not the only one willing to take on such a project.

I'd help out, but FND takes up most of my free time. Plus, I'd hate to think that rebooting series is all I get to be known for. Confused

^ That's exactly why I'm reluctant to take it on.

I can barely handle one fic at a time and right now I'm really slow at it. I'm hoping that will change as I get used to writing again. A reboot project would be way too much work and will ultimately distract me from my personal goals.

The sad thing is that rebooting VOY really does appeal to me in a lot of ways. Still, I think a reboot of my original Endeavour series that tanked is going to be my next big project.

NO BUGGIN HOLODECK EPISODES.

Ok. I know it's a little abrupt of me to resurrect this thread, but I just lost a few IQ points to Fair Haven and now I'm feeling the need to talk on the big white telephone about it.

Instead I came here.

So if I were ever to reboot Voyager, the damn Holodeck will suffer a MAJOR hull breach during the first episode. And if anyone ever rebuilds it (you know Tom Paris will have the first crack at that sucker) the only thing they will do is play CARTOONS until Daffy Duck escapes and makes off with the Doctor's mobile emitter. After Janeway is done dealing with that situation, she will forbid everyone from using the holodeck because the experience will be just too damn humiliating and (explosively) painful for everyone involved.

*rant over*
