So, odds on survival of Peter & Nathan? Since this is based on comics, the old rule "No body, no death" has to come into effect. I'm fairly sure that Peter could survive (since we know he survived going boom in the "future"), but not quite as sure about Nathan.

And another thing: is it just me, or were the flying sequences (admittedly brief) superb? I love how Nathan took off. And man, he was hauling some ass, wasn't he?

What's cool about Nathan's flying scenes is that he literally launches himself off the ground. There is no running start, or slow ascent. He just goes like a superfast rocket.

It actually just occured to me that maybe we should be careful of spoilers here.

New Voyages is an interesting little beast. The dude who plays Spock doesn't look a thing like him, but he has his body language absolutely perfect. In this series you get a wide range of acting talent. Anywhere from totally sucky to excellent.

The other episodes can be found on google video. I'm too lazy to look them all up for ya.
