Well, its about 11 pm where I am, and Casabalnca is on my local PBS station. Ah, Bogart - the classic clinically depressed noir hero. The Germans are singing about the Fatherland, and the French singer is about to sing the Marseillaise and everybody will join in and drown them out. Stirring stuff. We lost the favorite movie thread, I guess. I have fancy for very old ones.

an appropriate ingredient, don't you think?

Re: Randomness
Hmmm. Pretty far apart on the spectrum.
I' waiting for Spiderman 3 to come to my local second-run movie house. Only $3 admission. Probably take about a month to get there.
If you ever get a chance to see Casablanca, I can recommend it wholeheartedly.

Heh I'm too lazy to wait for it to get to the $3 theater, and then walk there like 2 hours (and then back)

Re: Randomness
Casablanca is a good movie so is the Maltese falcon or Laura.I like film Noir movies .
Re: Randomness
I think if a person likes angst, than Noir would definitely be for them.

Re: Randomness
Laura is a great film! Film Noir rocks. Enough time has passed that watching it takes you into a different era. Black and white film is so dramatic - the shadows, the sharpness of images.

Re: Randomness
Just out of curiosity. Does anyone else use their ring finger for actual stuff (like except for having a ring on it)? Or is it just me
I use my left ring finger for the touchpad in my laptop. I don't know it's just comfortable for some reason. Oh and I use my ring fingers to plug my ears when there's a loud noise like motorcycles etc. But I absolutely don't put any rings on them

Re: Randomness
Well, the ring finger, I'm told, has the softest touch. Therefore, if using your finger to apply eyeshadow, use the ring finger.

Re: Randomness
Hmm cool good to know. Though personally I don't wear makeup at all except for when I have to like on set and stuff, and usually they do my makeup. Sometimes I do use my ring finger when I have to do my own makeup (I never wear eyeshadow though) but it really depends because for that I just use the finger with the shortest nail because it's like easier for me that way

LOL, guys, I am sitting here playing with my fingers trying to see if ANY of them has a soft touch. I am such a klutz I think all my fingers drop things, push things off edges and don't like rings much.

Re: Randomness
I use mine for that little red eraser-thingy in the middle of my ancient ThinkPad. And for wearing one of my way, way too many rings.
And for making earrings.

Re: Randomness
Heh I use my ring finger when I type. But only the left one because I can only type with my left hand. Once my friend said I kinda look like Data when I type because I move my fingers so fast.
