My Vulcan costume is like a kolinahr master from the Kolinahr Academy for the Logically Challenged and I didn't have enough budget to make like a robe or something, but anyway like on the t-shirt it has a Vulcan text that says "master of kolinahr" and "master of logic" well but that's like small not like big like the Vulcans have on their robes, but instead of the robe thing I put the gold text on the belt (just gold colored fabric though not actual metal ) I put "master of kolinahr" on one side and "master of logic" on the other. It's the end of financial year here so of course, as part of my cultural education, it was completely necessary for me to experience Australian "stock take sales." And then something happened to me that's never happened before in my life. I pulled a couple pairs of jeans off the shelves, and the very first pair I tried on fit perfectly!!! 
And they were only $25! Now I've never seen a blue moon, but this has to be about as rare, or possibly rarer.
I love cultural education in all its many forms.

I am very happy, because my family is doing better

Well it is important to be able to reach the neck for kissing, Asso!
But I am keeping my hair long (half way down my back). I usually wear my hair pinned up on my head in the summer, so my husband has no trouble reaching my neck. In winter I wear my hair down because it helps keep my neck warm.

Well, I met Lady Rainbow and family today!!! Her kids are only 2 and 5 (oh right and one is like minus 5 months ), so the activities were kind of low key--go to the park to playground to play in the kiddie fountain and then out for pizza. She has also seen my house and is sworn to secrecy regarding its level of cleanliness.
It was wonderful talking with her about the site and about writing. Your name came up Linda. she really likes your stuff.
So do I.
Like Elessar, I am so pleased by the flood of new AND talented writers we've had lately. I don't think I'd be stepping on anyones toes to say, when this site started, it was all about the blind leading the blind. Amateurs with no writing background helping other amateurs with no writing background, learning as we go. We just felt compelled to write and discoverd new possibilities for ourselves. Now, suddenly people like Alelou AND Lady Rainbow have joined us; they write professionally AND yet they apparently like us and our stories!!!! I'm thrilled!

Some of you will have heard this one before....
But Priso just found ANOTHER crazy-ass house on mls.ca. For kicks, he took the day off and we toodled 103 km over and looked at this wacky 14 acres with all these 100 year old insane buildings and sandwiched right between two tiny arms of a river and right next to the sea. You can put your kayak in the river and end up in the sea a few minutes later. It's freaking awesome.
Who knows what will happen? (Gotta have this baby first, acourse).
Y'got yer 100 year old rain tower on the left, the 100 year old workshop in the middle and the still-habitable 100 year old cabin in the back on the right.
And cause it's 100 km out of town (about 65 miles) it's stupid cheap.
Darn Priso and that mls.ca!
