Just finished Tamsin by Peter Beagle.
Going on to Territory by Emma Bull.
Took a drive with my nephew who tried to explain Warcraft to me. He also described a character he was developing. Fascinating, if far from my world.
Participated in a small holiday crafts bazaar and made about 200$.

It's flavored with passionfruit
an appropriate ingredient, don't you think?

Uh, this long weekend I think I am gonna just veg out on the couch and stare at the ceiling. This is best done with a bellyfull of turkey with the trimmings.
That's the plan, but it will probably be modified to cleaning the basement.

Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.

And then - way later - get up and make turkey sammich with cranberry jelly...

Just watched MythBusters 5x22. Shooting fish in a barrel with a minigun brings a smile to a face

Still humming the music from Enchanted. Saw it last night and I think I'll want to see it again-- what a funny, cute, silly movie. Disney was able to poke fun at itself and NYC ("somewhere where there are no happy endings") without being cheesy. If you do go, don't get spoiled by the reviews that point out all of the disney movie references-- that's half of the fun. It's good for the whole family, too, because the more adult-oriented jokes will just fly over the kids' heads.

Watching Season 1 of Heros. Those shocking cliffhangers forced me to watch 4 epidsodes in a row.
I'm donating my body to science fiction.

Re: What are you...
Just beginning the reading of: "Narn i Chin Húrin" (The Tale of the Children of Húrin), by J.R.R. Tolkien, edited by his son, Christopher Tolkien.
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four
And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

I am at work, trying to put in a display on Jimi Hendrix. It's his birthday this week. If he had lived, he'd be...as old and wrinkly as Mick Jagger.

Nichelle Nichols was on the Heroes episode I watched last night (recorded rerun, I think.) It's good to see our Star Trek people have day jobs.

Re: What are you...
I saw Babylon 5: The Lost Tales yesterday, and I must say I was very disappointed. Both stories were very lack lustre and didn't rock my world at all. And I'm a huge B5 fan!
I seemed they were just made to show off some updated SFX for the B5 universe. Mostly it was just two people talking at length about different things. I had hoped that this DVD would add more depth and detail to the intricate B5 universe. Alas, that wasn't the case...
But the memorial to Andreas Katsulas and Richard Biggs were very nice. RIP.
