This was my last day of work for eight weeks. Won't be back in the saddle until September 1st.

Who knows? I have some ideas, and also some unfinished ones that I haven't looked at for well over a year and a half. I couldn't bring myself to it while I worked (since I write for a living, in a newspaper), and I haven't been in a Trekkie mood for a while either.

But first of all I have a lot of stuff to do in my chaotic apartment and then I'm going to help a friend move. Maybe a trip abroad in August as well, depending on what I can afford.

And he doesn't know our site is thriving because he uses the noflash "If you can't see the menu, push this button" version of our site, which we haven't been updating. (NO, I'm not poking the administrators. I haven't been doing it either. It's a big pain in the butt.)

Hey! Everytime I push updates, I update fanfic_noflash and archive_noflash! He can find em.

I just do it because I know it's boring as hell to everyone else. I just wanted to point out that _noflash folks can find everything everyone else can

Because it would take twice as long to make and wouldn't really solve anything.It would also take ages to change anything in it. The system as it is at the moment means that I can overwrite one file and change every single page at once (well more or less anyway) if it was javascript then I'd have to modify each page one by one unless I used an IFrame, which would defeat the point as it would be no easier for the disabled/handicapped . Thats why.
