X-Files 2 Finally!

Me? NOT disappointing. Very X-Files-ish. Lots of little nods to the television series. Plot holes? Well, yes, but I am willing to forgive them. And, in typical X-File fashion, the movie brings up a lot of issues and makes you think. Mulder and Scully were perfectly Mulder and Scully. I would say it depends on what you're looking for. It's low budget. If you want tons of action scenes and explosions and whatnot, you could be disappointed. If you loved the show because of M and S, I don't think you'll be disappointed. I hope that doesn't give anything away.

Thanks, my husband showed me a supposedly "'bad" review which says the movie is "solid if farfetched" and "benifts from - but doesn't make very good use of - the history and the chemistry between it's stars"

Doesn't make use of the chemistry? I don't think most of the folks reviewing it were big fans to tell the truth... One concerned Scully look as Mulder runs off galivanting and to me they're making use of it. Ebert did give it 3 1/2 stars. Shrug. I don't even care what they think anyhow. I enjoyed it.
