Yes, that theme song is irresitable. Long ago when my oldest son was in elementary school, he briefly played the flute (2 or 3 years) and learned really fast. I used to play the flute, so I kept him interested by writing out a few popular songs for him, including the theme to Deep Space Nice. He would memorize the songs right away and refuse to look at the music. I love that song.

DS9 is just *fun* to play. It wasn't even my fave theme song. But it's the funnerest one.

The other trek themes are completely f-ed up. A million really high and low notes, a million four and five note chords, and a million wacky sharps and flats. Not sight reading material for me (I'm only about a gr 3 piano level). I should make myself painfully learn them though. I *am* a trekkie.

The Johnny Cash/Homer trips on chili peppers episode of the Simpsons is in my top five Simpsons episodes. Along with the one where Selma marries Troy McClure, Lisa becomes a vegetarian, Homer thinks Bart is gay and the one where Homer gains weight to get on disability.

I am a big fan of the Know Your Meme web series, or else I wouldn't know anything about the internet. But this may be my favorite episode, because in it we learn, for real, that the double rainbow guy is also a cage fighter:
