Is it any better now that you live away from home? I sure used to resent the hell out of my Mom, but now she's a few kliks away she doesn't bug me anymore and we get along great.

Heh, I have the same thing with my dad.
Never used to get along, but ever since I've started living in Grand Forks for 9 months out of the year, we get along great when I come home, especially if I have a job when I'm home to keep me away from home for 8 1/2 hours a say.

I've been reading the Hitchhikers Guide to the galaxy book omnibus they're totally different stories from any scifi books I've ever read before.
