No political connotation. Absolutely.
But I'm happy that ROXANA SABERI is free.

I think I should put this here, because I don't want to sound like it's political, just silly. I want to confirm that this is crazy and absurd, that's all :D

OK, so ETA (you know, the Basque Terrorist Organization) has declared in a communiqué (or press release, since it was published in "their" journal) that one of their members has dissapeared (yeah, like a dog ) They say things like "we were going to meet in such a day in such a place and he didn't show up. And he didn't show up in another two meetings either". And they accuse Spanish and French police.

Is it just me or this is just absurd? I mean, you're a terrorist organization, you kill people, you put bombs, you threaten and extort money from people, you kidnap, you're supposedly fearsome, and you complain because your enemies are being mean? Really?!

I want to be citizen of a serious country, I swear.

Are you kidding me? "Oh Boo hoo! The police may have kidnapped one of our suicide bombers!"

Nothing against Spanish criminals, I'm sure they're very scary, but these guys sound like the sissies. I bet the other terrorists mock them at the big International Convention of Evil Doers.

They have those right? Or did I see that on an episode of the Tick?

This seems like as good a thread as any to post an article about the Department of Homeland Security enlisting science fiction writers to help them imagine future threat scenarios:
