I am officially a bonafide aerospace engineering graduate student :D . I got accepted to University of Illinois - Urbana/Champagne but I really wanted Texas A&M so I played the waiting game... waited... then wrote to one of the professors who conducts research in my field of specialization (propulsion: electric, nuclear, unconventional, and if all else fails, rocket), and he spoke to the admissions committee and pushed my application through :).

I was accepted for the Fall 2009 semester (very soon!) but I will probably defer until January 2010 because I am paying off some debts. I'm pumped! I can't wait to live in Texas!

Way to go!

Check out http://www.phdcomics.com. The longer you're in grad school, the more you'll identify.

*throws something but misses but for her cat-like supine reflexes!*

No, not really. I mean they'd bring me closer but... not quite. I mean TBH, I am selling off a few things. But I'm doing it like... I'm selling something and then buying something else that's $50-100 cheaper. The plan is to sell 3 weapons, re-buy 3 slightly less expensive versions and net something like $1100-$1300. Hopefully. Anyway.

How many guns does one 24-5 guy need anyway? Is someone after you like Comartie or something? Don't you dare throw anything you do not want me to virtual punch you.

Dang! You need a Cameron or you need a Catherine Weaver. Hmm don't go there... Anyway how many guns do you have? Now don't get me wrong I live in the black bear capital of the world and can appreciate the need for a good shotgun, but anything else seems superfulous.

:D Congratulations. You seem like a Texan and you seem like an aerospace engineer to me. This seems right!!! All systems go. You are cleared for launch.

Forgive the lack of happy jumps, I am currently fighting with my popup blocker.
