Aureilia's a real sweetie. :)

Here's my daughter's Halloween drawing from paint on the computer. A cat dressed as Harry Potter?

Getting ready to go Trick-or-Treating with my youngest. She's 11, so depending on how mature she thinks she is next year this could be the last time. You'd think that would make me eager to go, but I'm just so tired. I think I may be getting too old to walk around the neighborhood in the dark for two hours. Wish me luck! 8)

I'm not into Halloween at all, especially considering it's an imported holiday over here - one that was never heard of when I was young.

Anyway, I decided to watch one of the greatest horror films ever tonight - Alien. 8)

But Happy Halloween to you anyway!

Happy Halloween All! I love giving away candy to all the little ghouls and goblins in my neighborhood. Plus princesses and ballerinas - and one amazing Luke Skywalker. And I got a Harry Potter.

But nothing beats the James T. Kirk my older brother did when he was 7, in 1977.

Indeed! Doesn't mean I have to change with them though... :vulcan:

And over the past few years I've noticed a decline in Halloween activities here. There's been less and less advertising and events surrounding it. And the concept of dressing up and especially "trick or treating" has never been able to establish much hold. Most people here know and see more of Halloween on American movies and TV shows.

Not to be a downer or anything. Just thought I'd give it some perspective from across the pond.

Cool pix, JT!

And I love Bether's daughter's picture!!!

Aureilia went with me and also her 15 year old aunt and her 15 year old friend.

The 15 year olds were totally riding on Aureilia's cuteness-coattails to get in one last trick or treat. One guy laughed as he filled their buckets and said, "What are you guys? 27?"

I'll post a short YouTube in a few minutes.

You guys do anything in MO, Elessar?
