The boring objects game

A new game, since Aquarius is going crazy, my creative juices are flowing too. I've meant to do this one for awhile.

Take and show us a picture of:

#1. Your current milk.
#2. Your current beer (or something else if you've no beer).
#3. Your current cereal box.
#4. A kitchen appliance of yours.
#5. Your electrical outlet.
#6. Anything else that "foreigners" to your area might find different to theirs. Anything with language on it, or anything for any reason.

A look inside some of the household regularities of us internationally conjoined trekgeeks. ;)

Here's mine:

You'll notice it looks just like the American versions of the same stuff, but it has French on everything. :vulcan: Even the stove.

I'm mostly concerned about that alien slug on your oven.

Pictures must wait until I've raked up at least one frickin' thing today.

OOOH! I'll play. I just have to reload all my picture stuff into my computer. Since the big crash everything needs to be re-done.

I love how you can tell from the cereal box that there's a youngster around. :D 'Tis cute.

Yeah, you've been posting about that raking for awhile now today....ever gonna go out and do it? :poke:  :)

That *slug* as you call it, is a sleeping cat made of black clay.

Was the kitty made by the little mad scientist? Hey I'm not sure if you drink coffee but mama and I sure miss Tom Hortins (spelled it wrong) my sister can't send us any. Stupid laws! It almost makes me want to go to PEI.

Oops. Okay, cat. I can see that.

Yes, I did rake. Did I mow up the piles or even put the rake back in the garage yet? No. It gets dark fast when you spend most of the afternoon procrastinating!

Stop the presses! It's a chain that we have way up here in northern New England that the rest of the country doesn't! (It's almost always the other way around. The Krispy Kreme fans in my family dislike this fact of life.) Hmm, if they're in the US maybe you can order coffee from them?

Tim's is in canada and new england once you get to NY no more. And as far as I know you can't order. If you can and nobody told us I will be ticked off. BUT I also love Starbucks. They're two completely different flavor profiles. Um I have no camera to upload pics.

Not really. I'm odd. I thought everyone knew that.

Well, next time you're dying for something you can't get your hands on for whatever reason, go to google.com, type it in, and see if you can find it. Heck, you can even go to froogle.com and it may come up with prices attached.

Heck, some of my students are having better luck with google scholar than they do with academic search complete and lexis-nexis and so forth as they work on their research papers.
