In just answering the best films of 2009 thread and listing "Something, Something, Something Darkside" as one of my picks (brilliant movie, BTW!), I just wanna know--who here is also a Family Guy fan???

Funniest thing I've ever seen on TV:

PETER: Hey, Brian! There's a message in my Alpha Bits! It says "Oooooooooooooooooooooooo...!"
BRIAN: Uh, Peter, those are Cheerios.

I love Family Guy!

I also love the Cartoon Wars ep of South Park making fun of Family Guy.

No, I don't like it. It often crosses a line into mean. It feels so mean. I made a sustained effort to ban this particular show from our TV, but have lost the battle in recent years. Yes, alot of it is funny but I don't like to watch it. I can only ever watch for a few minutes before something really disgusting happens on the show and then I go, NOOOOooooo!!!! Where is the brain soap?

Yeah, it does cross the line sometimes, but I love the fact it's an equal-opportunity offender--nothing is sacred, no one is immune or above reproach.

Me too. I can't even get past the commercials. It makes the Simpsons look so wholesome.
