Yay! Today was gorgeous, almost 70 F outside, and the first crocuses are blooming. Meanwhile, my parents in Florida told me it's been too cold to get out and walk. 
It's not supposed to last here, but it sure is nice.
I raked, I mowed up leaves, I finally finished setting up the new cold frame despite the sketchiest instructions possible from the German company that made it (only took me a couple of hours to install the damned automatic opener and I'm still not convinced that it is in fact automatically opening), finished scrubbing and bleaching the pots, and transplanted some pepper seedlings.
Best of all, I'm on spring break for a whole week! HOORAH!

We had great weather--high 60s--until yesterday, when it plummeted to the low 40s. It'll be back to the 50s tomorrow, they say, but there goes the springtime euphoria I was riding.
