A friend of mine who's also active in the Star Trek RP on Twitter (and a wonderful artist) just had a stroke.
Prayers needed for her and her husband.

I just got an e-mail from her. The VA Hospital sent her home after her stroke. They said her labs came back "clean". The whole event scared the hell out of her husband, though.
She's resting, but still "a bit loopy".
Thank you for the continued prayers for her and her husband.

Holy crap!!
I'm glad she's home and recovering, but...JEEZ!! So I take it from the "clean" labs they were able to treat her quickly and prevent much damage?

Maybe she got a quick injection by a cranky, Southern doctor passing through while grumbling about barbarians?

Maybe it was more an ischemic episode (mini-stroke?)
She's going to have to be careful with her blood pressure and all that fun stuff.
