Okay, this may be a fizzle as I don't know how many people here are into the Photshopping.

But here's a contest anyhow!

The banners here have been around for a few years, and tho they are still totally awesome, maybe it could be fun to freshen the place up a bit? So I thought we could design and post suggestions for new banners?

At first I was only thinking of the bulletin board one, but why not consider any of the others if one appeals to you?

So here they all are below. I hope there are a couple of peeps who might try this!

If/when I get some suggestions ( ) I'll add a "poll" to the top of the topic with the various options. Let's give it, say 2 weeks?

Or we could always have a sort of rotating banner with a few different ones that slowly slideshow. That's easy enough.

So I made one, but the software was fighting me the whole way. I finally got it done, though. Sort of. Now how the heck do you upload it?

Maybe the 'Img' tag I see above?

Well that was clearly NOT it.

Any advice on how to attach a .png file to these posts?

You could either upload it to one of the free sites such as www.fileswap.com and put the corresponding URL in the Img tag in your post, or I suppose you could send a forum message to EK with the image as an attachment.

I like to use photobucket.com for my pictures...it even gives you "Bulletin board code"...the url with [img] tags added

Or you can pm it to me, (you can attach files via a little box with a "Browse" button next to it...under the pm main text box you type in.)

Then I'll post it for ya.

I can't photoshop, but here's an idea if someone wants to run with it.

This site is called Triaxian Silk, so why not a banner that includes T'Pol wearing her silk jammies? In my mind they are made of triaxian silk, and she did start to wear them after that episode (name escapes me at the moment) when they met that trader.

I know there's a screencap when TnT are rubbing their feet lying down (perfect for a longish banner). It has the added bonus of showing off her bum.

KTR, Episode was Oasis. Trip said she would look good in Trisilk.

That's the URL for the whole web page containing your image plus all the blurb about how to use fileswap. The image itself has a different URL ending in .jpg which you can embed in a forum comment like this:

Ahum. "The tits are great?" A picture of T'Pols boobs in plain sight? I think it's very orginal and the poem is hilarious, but maybe you could have something more neutral for a banner. One that doesn't attract people who google "tits" and "boobs" and expect something nude and doesn't scar away people that are looking for a romantic/adventure/drama story of TnT.

Edit: Okay I got it. It was a joke. My brain was kind of slow.
