He is Risen!

Happy Easter to all. There is great happiness in the Weeble household at the moment. We have returned from early Mass and are now preparing to head off to spend the day with family eating far to many tasty things. Today is the greatest holiday for Christians so enjoy it. If you are not of faith, go ahead and enjoy it as well

Peace to you all
><((((º>I even get a day off!

Happy Easter! Our pet rabbits (with me assisting) delivered my husband's Easter basket to him. :fasthorse: He has come to expect that from the resident Easter Bunnies. Jim is just a kid...71 years young.

Had the great pleasure of seeing our youngest grandchild baptized today. (You'd think there was nothing he liked more than having water poured over him and then having some strange guy in a robe take him up and down the aisle to greet people he'd never seen before, so he welcomed it more than most babies.) Happy Easter, all!

Congrats, Alelou! You must be a proud grandmother!

We had a really nice Easter service. My nine year old daughter was asked to greet the people at the door. She did by telling everyone "He is really risen" and shaking their hands. My son - he got six this week,, already so big - was responsible of given out the booklet of the church service. He did a great job, he knew very well which people were a couple and only gave one to them so they could share.

We also have the tradition of Easter fires in this part of the country. Because of the (very) cold weather some of the fire weren't allowed, but some young people quickly made this cubic shaped fire and the fire department agreed.
