Yup, it's this time of the year again, when magazines like FHM have published their Top 100 lists. And honestly, those lists are weird sometimes. There are many names there which I've never heard of.

I was bored and not fully concentrating on The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen which is just showing on TV, so I've made my own list at the same time.

Anyway I thought I'd present it and then you can present yours (although you don't need to present any visual aid).

It's no surprise for you to learn who takes the top spot.

#1. Jolene Blalock



Brunette, Blond, Redhead, doesn't matter, she stays on top.

#2. Natalie Portman



Look up "cute" in a dictionary and you ought to find a pic of her. She's always in my Top 5, and she gets to number two since I've recently watched the Star Wars prequels.

#3. Angelina Jolie



I know she's kinda weird but man, she's still one of the sexiest women on the planet. Besides, she's settled down quite a bit these past few years. I liked her recent trip to Iraq as well.

#4. Charisma Carpenter



She was my favorite Buffy babe and it's a pity we don't see more of her these days.

#5. Keira Knightley



A bit skinny sometimes, but looking good anyway, even in strange pirate garb.

#6. Jessica Alba



No one, except Jolene, can wear a bikini as well as she can.

#7. Kate Beckinsale



I'd let her make me a vampire and live in the Underworld!

She hardly looks any different from when I first caught sight of her in the late 80s.

I don't know. Yes, they're beautiful, but it seems to me you've got an awful lot of anorexic women there. I feel like saying, come on girls, scrub off all that make up, put on some nice comfy sweats and let's eat.

OK, I'll give it a try. But this is more like a list of people who were in their prime 10 or 15 years ago:

Looks like I can't remember anymore!!! But that's just looks, and for woman, it's not always about the looks per se, more about a certain cockiness . .. or something. For instance I was fascinated by David Caruso. So were so many woman . . . I don't know.

Oh well. If we can include all the guys we've ever found gorgeously compelling at any point in our lives, why only go back 10 or 15 years?? I'd have to begin with Fess Parker (Good old Daniel Boone, my first crush) and the guy who played Manuelito on High Chapparal and Randolph Mantooth on Emergency! and Paul Michael Glaser as Starsky, then move on to Mark Hamill when he was still pretty, Harrison Ford when he was still pretty (a lot longer than the former), Pierce Brosnan, and -- of course --CONNOR. Did you forget Connor? Oh yeah, and Colin Firth and whoever that guy is who plays Darcy opposite Keira Knightley in the last Pride and Prejudice movie. And Sam Waterston before he got old and mired in Law and Order. And David Duchovny.

I don't go in this play, but I want only to say Jolene Blalock is the best, for me.

OK, I definitely agree...both Connor and Anthony are on my list. Yum! And let's not forget the English Muffin.

Others on my list: Pierce Brosnan, Hugh Jackman, Harrison Ford (as Han Solo and Indiana Jones), the Rock (my best friend, originally from Samoa, is the Rock's first cousin), Brendan Fraser (in a goofy kinda way), and Ewan MacGregor. Oh, and Clive Owen too.

You don't think Keira Knightley looks anorexic? Really?

Oh well. I agree she's very pretty and a talented actress too. Made a luminous Elizabeth Bennett. If she were still a teenager I'd accept her build. But as an adult I think she must be starving!!!!

If I'm going to choose hunky on looks alone, I'd have to add Anthony Montgomery too -- clearly the most beautiful person on Enterprise with the possible exception of Jolene. But there's got to be a little extra spark of something and he doesn't have it for me, except once in awhile when he's grinning like a schoolboy and then he's just so adorable I want to adopt him. But it's like he'd be a great kid to add to the family and you want to take him home and make him cookies. Not like all those other guys on my list for whom I'd have quite a different idea.

And yes, I forgot Hugh Jackman. Yep, that's definitely another one in the non-cookie category.

OK, lets go WAY back. First crushes: Bob Crane from Hogan's Heros! Then a slightly more mature crush: Alan Alda from M*A*S*H*. Hey, I STILL love Alan Alda and he's 72!

I have a problem viewing Anthony Montgomery as sexy, because he seems so young. He reminds me of me too much of my nephew in his mannerisms.

Oh man, I watched Emergency! every week even though it was pretty bad just to watch Randy Mantooth. Though I have to admit after a year or two I'd just wait for the last fifteen minutes because that was when they always had the Really Big Fire. Couldn't stand the hospital parts. Give me firemen!

I have trouble viewing Dominic Keating as sexy because I know he's gay and somehow I either knew that really early in my watching or guessed it. I think he's at his hottest when he's having intense scenes with Major Hayes. It's so non-canon but I think it would have been neat if they'd let his character BE gay. I felt like they were skirting right on the edge of that in Season 3.
